Zora has overall been a pretty friendly girl, though does get easily spooked by people appearing when she doesn’t expect them, and did have one instance of being scared of a large male staff member. She has otherwise warmed up to most people pretty quickly and is a pleasant walker, especially given her large size. In her previous home they noted she did not interact with any other dogs. Here at the shelter she has shown curiosity about them from a distance (calmly watching and air scenting) but typically has not chosen to approach or engage with them. If she were to go home with another dog she would likely do best with another calmer, mature adult dog who is not wanting to constantly engage in play. She will need a slow integration in the home for her to get accustomed to living with another dog. She does not have any history with cats, but we have not seen significant prey drive yet – she could be a good candidate to live with a cat with appropriate introduction. Due to her large size and tendency to jump onto people, she would do best with dog-savvy children.
