Animals don’t have a time limit at The Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV), but they still can’t wait to find a home. So HSHV is rolling out a new initiative to help them get one faster.

Star, now Nebula, is the perfect addition to our family. My youngest daughter adores cats & has been wanting one for the past year. When we walked in we saw Kylo reaching through the crate. We learned that he had been returned the day before and we knew we wanted to adopt him! Since we got him, Kylo was less than 2 pounds and really small. Now at 8 months old, he’s now bigger than our full-grown cat! He loves the outside, and water strangely enough. We have been coming to HSHV regularly over the last few months, just keeping our eyes open for the perfect bigger pup who might get along with our two 5 lb chihuahuas.
