Levering is a nervous fellow that we would like to get some more information on in a home environment. He has been particularly cautious in our care and seems to explore the world at his own slow pace, but being surrounded by unfamiliar people and dogs is incredibly overwhelming for a nervous man like Levering. He has greeted another dog at the shelter but was cautious/avoidant, so he would do best in a house without other dogs so he can decompress on his own. Levering would benefit from a quiet household without kids 12 and under as he can be skittish around sudden, fast movements or loud noises. We do not have history on cats so slow, separated introductions should be used. A fenced yard is not required but would likely be beneficial to Levering.
