Age: 7  Sex: Female   Breed: Mastiff Mix   Weight: 87 lbs    Restrictions: No Dogs; No Kids Under 12 Aberdeen has been in our care for a little while and she’s only been on one walk so far. She’s a cautious dog that doesn’t want to leave the comfort of her room at the shelter. She’s been social with people and loves showing off her favorite stuffed toys. She would do best in a foster that can set up a room for her to decompress in. Due to her sensitivities around leashing (she will lay down when leashed and refuse to move when leashed), she would greatly benefit from a foster with a fenced yard. Aberdeen does not seem comfortable around other dogs, and would do best in a foster without other dogs as she settles in. She will need separation from cats and slow, separated introductions as we don’t have cat history on her. We do not have kid history with her, but Aberdeen would benefit from a quiet home without kids or older, dog-savvy children (12 or older.)
