Annie is one of our shy girlies looking for an opportunity to engage with the world in a less overwhelming environment. She struggles with reactivity here and does bark and pull towards other dogs. When given slow introductions, Annie is able to greet and play with other dogs here at the shelter. Annie came in with Suzi and has been the more confident of the two, showing more high energy/arousal behaviors than her sister. Annie appears to reserve her rowdiest play-styles for her sister and loves a good game of mouthing and wrestling – she may come to adapt this play style to other dogs as she gets to know them, so potential dog siblings should be tolerant of this. Annie would likely do best with older/quieter children due to fearful behavior seen in the shelter and general arousal/energy levels. We do not have history on cats, so discretion and slow/separated integration may be required. Annie and Suzi could go to a home together, but are not required to.
