Bluey will need a savvy foster who is comfortable reading body language and managing a sensitive high energy dog. He displays high levels of arousal around toys and fast moving objects which can result in him biting the quickly moving object. He will likely benefit from impulse control training and teaching him appropriate outlets for his chasing and biting behaviors (toys, tennis balls, or a flirt pole). He has shown reactivity towards dogs, especially out on leash and will need a foster who is is comfortable working with and managing a reactive dog. He will likely be most successful in a home with no other animals, though does not have any history with cats and may be able to be managed if kept separate. He will need a foster home without kids due to his impulsive biting.
