Guatam is definitely a kind kid. Guatam is an animal lover and wanted to help our animals stay comfortable as they wait for their forever homes. Ray and Ian are both such kind kids! These brothers both love animals so much that they wanted to help them by raising money. They both ran a lemonade and water stand in order to help the animals. Birthday Bash Gives Back

Emma is one kind kid indeed! Emma absolutely loves animals and visiting the shelter. She has participated in many events here and wanted to get even more involved. Emma decided to have a birthday party where she and her other kind friends made fabulous fleece blankets for the animals. Annika is one kind kid! Annika celebrated her birthday at HSHV and wanted to to give back to the animals for her special day. Caring Classroom

Ms. Scheurer’s first grade class at Beacon Elementary is full of kind kids! After participating in a virtual field trip with HSHV, this first grade class was inspired to give back to the animals. They worked hard to make persuasive commercials to convince others at their school to donate items. Their commercials helped to donate a large assortment of great items for the shelter, such as food, toys, towels, blankets, and litter.
