Daisy Mae is stressed by living in the shelter and would like to get out into a home. She does like other dogs but can’t currently play a lot since she is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. She can get a bit frustrated by seeing all the other dogs here and not being allowed to interact with them. Fosters will need to be able to keep her calm and provide plenty of mental enrichment while she is on exercise restriction. We do not have any history on her with cats, so fosters would need the ability to separate and follow slow introductions. She’s been quite friendly here, but doesn’t have any history with young children, so should meet any kids in the household prior to going to foster.
