Frosty is having hard time being confined to a kennel. She took a minute to settle in and warm up to new people, but now that she is comfortable with staff and volunteers she spends a lot of her day barking for attention in her kennel and would benefit from being able to get more one on one time with people in a home. She is currently being treated for a skin condition and has shown some sensitivities around being handled. She will need someone who can be patient with her and go at her pace. Due to her handling sensitivities she would do best without young children. She will need to meet any dog foster siblings before going to foster. She does not have history with cats and will need a slow and controlled introductions should she go to a foster home with cats.

How to Foster Frosty:

New fosters can take the first step by learning about fostering and signing up to become a new foster. Veteran foster parents can email fosters@hshv.org to schedule a pickup appointment.
