Jade is a wiggley, excitable, high energy young dog. She loves nylon chews and wiggles her entire body right up to you for pets and attention while holding one in her mouth. She was surrendered for conflict with other dogs in her previous home and would be most comfortable as the only dog. She also has shown high prey drive around cats and other small prey. She lived with a 7 year old in her previous home and could be successful in a home with younger children. She is crate trained and was managed around the other dogs in her previous home by separating with a crate or room. She has not displayed reactivity to other dogs on leash here at the shelter and was able to be called away from barking at other dogs when in a fenced yard in her previous home. We are hoping to get her into an environment with fewer dogs so that she can decompress and show us her true personality and her most comfortable self!
