Lunabelle is a young, energetic girl who would greatly benefit from the ability to get out of a kennel and stretch her legs in the home. She is easily overstimulated by the hustle and bustle of the shelter. The routine and calmer environment of a home will allow her to decompress and regulate her emotions much better. She likes other dogs but can be a bit pushy with play, so she will likely do best with another young dog with a similar level of energy who can keep up with her. She can be an intense and vocal player, which can be too much for some dogs. She has mixed history with cats with one home reporting that she loves them and the other saying she chases them intensely – She may be able to be integrated with cats with someone who is experienced with desensitization and slow introductions, but will need initial separation at first. She has displayed some reactivity when frustrated or nervous and will do best with a foster who is comfortable working with reactivity or willing to work with the behavior department on how to train it.

How to Foster Lunabelle:
