I adopted Molly on September 2nd 2021, and it was easily one of the best days of my life.
Molly had only been at HSHV for six days when my mom and I showed up to look for an ESA (emotional support animal) to help me with my depression and anxiety. Molly was laying down in the last kennel in the hallway, looking up at us with her beady little eyes. She pawed at me through the kennel door and I knew she was the one. I was able to take her back to the dorms with me and she instantly became my best friend and confidant. As for the emotional supporting…well, let’s just say she’s doing her best LOL. She does what she thinks I need when I’m sad – bringing me her ball to distract me, or rubbing up against me until I start laughing (this came in handy when I had to kill my first spider after moving to my own apartment). She is a ball of energy and gets me out of the apartment and into the fresh air, which is greatly appreciated. There are so many things Ms. Molly has done for me, and I’m so grateful that she’s mine. She’s also amassed over 760 followers on twitter, where she’s the owner of “The Goodest Gorl Law Firm” – she proves her friend’s innocence when they get stuck in sticky situations.
She really is the bestest and goodest gorl.
