Age: 2   Sex: Female Breed: Husky  Weight: 56lbs    Restrictions: No Other Animals.

Nikita has been at the shelter for a few months now and deserves a break from the kennel. She would be most comfortable as the only animal in the home, but has been generally comfortable with people. She does have history of resource guarding from other animals, so there should be thoughtful management (crate, baby gates) if she is in a foster home with small children who may invade her space while she has food or any other high value treats. She is an active, spunky, young husky mix and would love to get away from the confinement of the shelter and get the opportunity to engage in more adventures in a home setting!

How to Foster Nikita:

New fosters can take the first step by learning about fostering and signing up to become a new foster. Veteran foster parents can email fosters@hshv.org to schedule a pickup appointment.
