Adopt a Pet-of-the-Week!

These are some of our staff’s favorite animals. Shout out to our media partners for helping homeless pets find great homes! You can listen to us talk about these Pets of the Week on Thursdays around 7:30 a.m. on Ann Arbor’s 107one, 8:05 a.m. on WTKA, and around 10 a.m. on Saturday on 1290 AM WLBY.

The Ann Arbor’s 107one Pet-of-the-Week is Bob

Hi my name is Bob! I currently getting some medical treatment at HSHV, but I’d love to have a home lined up once I’m feeling fit as a fiddle! I am a little on the shy side, looking for a patient adopter — purrreferably without kids under 12 — who will give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. Once I get comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. You know what they say…the best things in life are worth waiting for, like a special bond with a cat who likes the calmer side of life!

All the animals available for adoption through the Humane Society of Huron Valley (HSHV) are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations and have a microchip I.D. which is included in their affordable adoption fee.

Hi my name is Argos! I am a handsome boy, and a bit on the shy side. I’m looking for a patient adopter who is willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. Once I get more comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an adoption survey online or in the shelter!

Hi, my name is Florian, a guinea pig looking for a forever home! As guinea pigs we are more nervous creatures and will need time to warm up to new people and surroundings. We do need an enclosure with ample space and need to be out of our cages to exercise and play at least one hour a day! Feel free to stop by to meet me today!
