In 2023 I adopted Baby (Princess Piggy) from HSHV. I saw how well loved she was by all the staff there so it brings great sadness to share that she passed in the fall of 2025. After her adoption she struggled a little to adapt to having cat siblings in the house, but fortunately we were able to find her a loving home with a man who took wonderful care of her and even adopted a baby sister for her named Lola.

He renamed her Baby after adopting her and she had the most wonderful life with him, staying right by his side the whole time. Luckily I was able to make frequent visits to see her and got to see her the day she passed. Her last day was filled with snuggles and she even got a whole cheeseburger and fries. Even though she slowed down a lot towards the end she was still wagging her tail and giving kisses, grateful for the life she had. I can say with confidence she brought joy to everyone around her and will be deeply missed.
