Ricotta is a lovely older lady who would like to spend her time outside of the busy shelter. She is social with people and has done well interacting with our junior volunteers (aged 12-17). As an older girl, she shows some discomfort when engaging with other dogs and should go to foster as an only dog so she can decompress in a quiet environment. We do not have history on cats, so a slow/separated introduction should be followed. Ricotta is heartworm positive and will likely require limiting of excessive running/play while under treatment.
