Suzi is a nervous dog who is having difficulties returning back to her kennel after walks. While on the shyer side, Suzi acclimates to new people when given opportunity to explore and open up on her own. Once comfortable with you, she’s a goofy girl! Suzi appears to be more confident when in the presence of other dogs but can take some time to warm up to novel dogs and may require a slow introduction as she warms up and adjusts. Suzi is currently BFFs with Annie, the dog she came in with, but would likely do well living with others after initial introductions. We do not have history with cats, and she should not go to a home with small children due to discomfort seen at the shelter and her general nervous nature. Continuing positive reinforcement training to get some basics down would be a big confidence booster for a girl like her. Suzi is seeking a quiet home environment where she can explore and play at her own pace – and maybe a sneak few treats now and again! Annie and Suzi could go to a home together, but are not required to.
