Titan is a nervous kid who struggles living in a kennel. He becomes frustrated by barriers (like the bars of his kennel, or barriers like windows or fences) and will bark at unknown people and dogs through them. This makes is stress levels at the shelter quite high. When he is in a situation where he is comfortable and able to show his true self, he is a wiggley, goofy guy who will lean into you for butt scratches and bring you his toys. In a home, he previously lived with other cats and is reported to do well with them. His previous owners stated that he was able to play with other dogs, but he has been conflicted and overwhelmed when meeting them at the shelter. He will need to meet any dogs here before going to foster and may prefer to be an only dog. He has seemed most comfortable with more neutral and low key interactions, rather than overly friendly dogs who want to be in his space. He was described as “jumpy” with small children and did have an incident where he bit a child when the child climbed on top of him and took a toy directly out of his mouth. He will do best with children who are old enough and mature enough to respect his space with his resources.
