Rental package includes use the entire café for one or two hours and is available most days and times during our regular business hours

Available Party Times: Regular open hours: Tuesdays – Saturdays, 12:00-7:00; Sundays, 12:00-5:00

2-week(+) advanced notice required

Rates include up to 20 people.  Over 20 people will be charged $10/per person, with a maximum of 30 total people.

All children must be 4 years or older. For groups with children, please abide by the following ratios*:

  • 1 adult for every 3 children under 8 years old;
  • 1 adult for every 5 children/teens 8-14 years old;
  • At least 1 adult for any number of teens 15+

All guests, regardless of age, are expected to abide by the café rules and cat handling recommendations as outlined by staff.

Rental Rates (Seasonal)

Winter (October – April):

1 hour=  $150

2 hours= $225

Summer (May – September)**:

1 hour= $250

2 hours= $350

**If there are ever fewer than 10 cats on-site at time of event, our summer rate will be adjusted to the same price as the winter rate.  Adjustments to fully pre-paid rentals can be made day-of event.

What's Included?

  • Rental of the café, including private program room
  • 8-ft long counter space
  • Three 8-ft tables, tablecloths, and chairs
  • Access to program room beginning ½ hour before the reservation for setup and ½ hour after the reservation for cleanup. Decorations must be kept in the program room and wall decorations must be applied using painter’s tape only (café can provide tape if needed).
  • A program event coordinator to assist with your program and to answer any questions you may have during your event
  • Use of the Tiny Lions kitchenette area, which includes a full refrigerator/freezer, counter space and a sink
  • Use of computer and wall-mounted TV for displaying videos, PowerPoints, etc.
  • Admission for all guests to the cat café (up to 20 guests; additional guests charged at a rate of $10/hour. Total limit of 30 people.)

What You Provide

  • Desired food, drinks* and serving utensils. Food can be brought in from outside sources. *Note: Alcohol is not permitted at any time
  • Decorations
  • Activities, games, etc. for your group to engage in during the rental period

Ready to Book?

Please complete the Tiny Lions Rental Agreement (below) with your preferred dates. Our staff will call you to confirm dates and to secure your $100 non-refundable* deposit, which may be paid over the phone or in-person. You may also pay for the full rental at that time, or the remainder of your balance will be due on the day of the event, prior to the start of your rental period.

*Deposits are non-refundable, but we will work with you to transfer to a new date if needed with at least a 24-hour notice before change/cancellation.  Booking a new date will depend on availability and café capacities.

Please read the following carefully:

  • Cats and their allergens are present throughout the building. All guests are likely to be in direct contact with cats. Hosts are responsible for informing guests of the presence of allergens. HSHV staff is not permitted to administer any allergy medications to guests.
  • Any guests who wish to remain after the rental concludes will need to pay the additional $10 admission fee (per hour). Subject to availability.
  • Adult-to-child ratios must be maintained (see guidelines above), and all children must be supervised at all times.
  • Due to our fire code, the total number of guests must not exceed 30 people.
  • Hosts are responsible for bringing any food, serving, and eating utensils. If arranging a delivery, food may be brought into the program room as early as 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time, during setup.
  • The café has beverages and snacks available for $1 per item which all guests are welcome to purchase.
  • Guests are permitted to bring decorations for the event. Decorations and balloons may be used in the program room only and are not permitted in the cat visitation areas.
  • Any decoration that will be taped onto the wall must be done with painter’s tape (café has tape for use if needed).
  • For the safety of the cats, we ask that balloons and/or any items containing ribbons or strings be closely monitored and removed at the conclusion of the rental.
  • Although Tiny Lions does our best to ensure we have social cats available to visit with, we cannot guarantee the number of kitties that will be in the building or the amount of interaction the guests will have with the cats.
  • Our staff will review rules including animal handling expectations and policies with all guests. Guests are expected to display safe, appropriate, and respectful behavior towards the staff, volunteers, and animals at all times. Tiny Lions staff reserve the right to deny participation to any guest who exhibits unsafe behavior with staff, volunteers, or animals at any time. Refunds will not be issued if any guest is asked to leave the adoption center due to failure to comply with our rules, expectations, or policies.
  • Live animals may not be brought to the café at any time. This includes- but is not limited to- dogs, cats, hermit crabs, fish, and hamsters.
  • Because your remittance is in return for services provided, payment is not tax-deductible.
  • This signed contract must be received before the rental period begins.
