Tremendous Troop #40894

The members of Troop #40894 are very kind!  Many members have pets adopted from HSHV and were inspired to help the other animals.  They sold girl scout cookies to raise funds for supplies and created fleece bandanas, cat toys, dog toys, and fleece blankets!  They also brought cookies for the staff and volunteers!  Thank you so much, Troop #40894.  We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity, and we know the animals are too!

Meredith’s Birthday Celebration for the Animals

Meridith is such a kind kid!  For her birthday this year, she celebrated with friends and family at HSHV!  Meredith encouraged guests to bring donations for the animals.  Food, towels, beds, and toys were collected! Classroom Kindness

The members of the Student Lighthouse team at Winchester Elementary are very kind!  They love pets and chose HSHV as the recipient of their community service project.  Members organized a donation drive with a goal to collect 150 items!  Dog and cat food, toys, sponges, zip loc bags, and treats were collected and donated to HSHV.  Thank you so much, Winchester Elementary!  We greatly appreciate your wonderful donation!

Running to raise awareness

The members of Girls on the Run- Heritage School are very kind!  Members selected HSHV as the recipient of their Community Impact Project.  They made posters raising awareness on adopting animals and made dog and cat toys from cotton t-shirts.   Thank you so much, Girls on the Run!  We greatly appreciate your thoughtful and creative donation.

Marvelous Matilda

Matilda is such a kind kid!  Matilda recently celebrated her birthday and wanted to help the animals at HSHV.  She organized a birthday fundraiser and asked her friends for donations to HSHV instead of birthday gifts.  Blankets, toys, pet food, and monetary donations were collected and given to HSHV! Saving Animals with Savings

Simon is such a kind kid!  He loves animals and decided that he wanted to help the animals at HSHV, so he started saving his allowance each week.  Each week, Simon placed a portion of his allowance in a share jar, then donated the funds to HSHV!  Thank you, Simon!  We are so grateful for your generosity, and we know the animals are too!

Book Club Kindness
