Students from Hillside Elementary School voted to help animals for their community day of service project. So they chose to help the animals of HSHV! The students made bandanas for the dogs, feather toys for the cats and rolls with hay in them for the rabbits. Animal lover, volunteer of and former humane education teacher at HSHV, Renee wanted to teach her class more about animals. So the Preschoolers of Triangle Cooperative Preschool spent some time to learn all about pets and how to make enrichment to help the animals in need. Girl scout troop 40259 made over 20 fleece blankets filled with love for cats and donated them to HSHV in the memory of a special friend as well as family members who unfortunately passed away this holiday season.
