Walk and Wag & Run
Coming Soon: Our 42nd annual pupperpalooza, Walk & Wag and Run!
Who: The Humane Society of Huron Valley and a community of animal-lovers like you!
What: HSHV’s largest fundraiser of the year! Walk & Wag will consist of a virtual 5k run/walk, fundraising prizes, pet-themed contests (Best Pet Trick contest, Celebrity Spokesdog contest, and Pawparazzi Fashion Show), and finally a celebration on May 15th featuring livestream and online activities from HSHV!
Where: Walk & Wag will be virtual, although if safety allows, we may announce an optional in-person gathering on May 15th at Rolling Hills Park. Meanwhile, plan to join the festivities online! More details to come.
When: Festivities begin at 10 a.m.
Why: Because the animals in our community still need us! Walk & Wag is a critical fundraiser for the homeless, abused and injured animals who continue to come through our doors. Every dollar you raise makes a difference!
How: Here are the deets on the most important aspects of Walk & Wag:
- Registration will open in late February at hshv.org/walkandwag
- Fundraise using your personal fundraising page, created when you register! We’ll provide sample emails and weekly tips to make fundraising quick and easy-squeezy.
- Run/walk the 5k on your own time, or kick it off with us at 9am on Saturday, May 15th when we announce the countdown live on Facebook! Run/walk solo, with a furry friend, or safely with your teammates. Runners can submit their times to earn a medal!
