Guardian Circle members have included HSHV in their estate plans, making a commitment to the future care of animals in our community.

HSHV is an important safety net for homeless, abused, and injured animals—rescuing them from cruel and neglectful situations, providing medical care and shelter, and finding them loving homes. Leaving a planned gift is a special way to continue improving their world. Your planned gift will provide long-term support for our life-saving programs.

Getting started is easier than ever with this free estate planning tool, courtesy of FreeWill. It makes it simple to write a legal will, create a plan for the people and pets you love, and include the necessary language to create a planned gift with HSHV. Please know that this resource is free to use, regardless of whether or not you include a gift to HSHV.

Benefits

We hope you will consider becoming a member of our Guardian Circle of Donors. Your name will be listed in Saved, our quarterly newsletter. You will also receive an invitation to an annual Guardian Circle event and be eligible to participate in our Continuing Care program, a way to provide lifetime care for your companion animals.

Continuing Care

One of the most loving things we can do for our companion animals is to make arrangements if we should leave them behind. HSHV’s Continuing Care program helps provide a bright future for animals whose parents predecease them. Animals enrolled in the program are placed with new families looking to adopt.

Enroll in the Guardian Circle

Please download our Guardian Circle packet and return the Declaration of Intent (or complete it online) once you have made the decision to include HSHV in your estate plans. Please indicate if you would like information on enrolling in our Continuing Care program.
