3rd Grade Gives Back

Ms. MacDonald’s 3rd grade class at Hardy Elementary is amazing! During a class party, they used their creating and crafting skills to make 16 cozy blankets and 2 awesome dog toys for our animal residents at HSHV. The class wanted to be kind and help animals in need, and we are so grateful they thought of us! Thank you so much, Ms. MacDonald’s class, you all rock!

Giving in Memory

Unfortunately, having and loving companion animals often means that we have to say goodbye to them too soon. It is so sad that our furry friends have shorter lifetimes to spend with us. However, Nolan and Annika found a compassionate way to honor their cat’s memory. They donated their cat’s belongings to HSHV so the items could continue to be loved and used by our cats here! For a volunteer project at school, Eileen made some awesome items for our animal residents! She handmade fleece blankets and dog toys from t-shirts. Lucy and Lola wanted to give back to honor their beloved animals, Oliver and Logan, that were adopted from HSHV! Maya and Zane are some awesome siblings! They wanted our cat residents to have fun this winter so Maya and Zane saved up their allowance and brought HSHV some amazing cat supplies.
