On Christmas Eve 2017 my husband and three teenage boys went to HSHV to adopt a cat for me. Our previous cat had died at age 21 over a year prior, and our house was never the same. I came across this site and saw several of our puppy’s siblings on here! This is LuLu, formerly Monica, who was adopted in February or March 2017 from HSHV. She was on the Love Train from Tennessee. She was in a crate with her sister, somewhat shy in the back. She is no longer shy! She’s our spunky girl, super loving and cuddly but small and mighty, too! She totally dominates our black Lab! To Della’s original family — After my husband’s death last February, I went to HSHV looking for a feline companion. Being a senior citizen myself, I wanted a senior cat. Della’s information sheet said that she was 9 years old, and that you had to surrender her because you were moving and couldn’t take her. I know that it must have broken your heart because she is such a sweet cat. She especially likes to sit in her cat tree and watch the birds through the kitchen window.
