My dog came on the Love Train from Kentucky. After we adopted him, we found out that he had heartworm which we had him treated for. During the X-Ray portion of the treatment, we found out that he had previously been shot (shrapnel shown on X-Ray) in addition to a fractured ankle. We have had him for over a year now, and he has proven to be the best dog we have ever had! We are retired and have adopted many dogs in the past. In March of 2018, I started looking for a companion kitty for Loki, my HSHV Alum. His 17-year old kitty brother had passed away, and I could tell that Loki was lonely.
